The Lone Goose Shiraz Viognier

Shiraz from Block One and Block Three are co-fermented with estate-grown Viognier to produce The Lone Goose. 
In these blocks layers of sandy clay loam over friable red permeable clay sit above a carbonate layer and highly weather rock below. This allows for moderate drainange and unrestricted root growth with good water holding capacity.

Vintage: 2021
Colour: Deep magenta-splashed crimson.
Aroma: Aromas of super ripe blackberry, dark plum and blueberry fruits. Hints of baking spices, dark chocolate, black forest cake, cedar, liquorice all-sorts, pressed wildflowers, pan juices, tapenade and earth. Mocha, dark chocolate with blueberry compote, grilled peaches, and fragrant blue violet floral notes.
Palate: Plush and pure on the palate, fine, powdery tannins and an extended, lingering finish.

Plush and pure on the palate, fine, powdery tannins and an extended, lingering finish.
